Experimental researcher in laser development, currently focusing on high-power, ultrashort systems in the near- and mid-infrared. These sources have numerous applications across fields as diverse as molecular spectroscopy, laser-matter interaction, strong-field physics, atmospheric remote sensing, materials processing, and laser surgery.

Graduated in Physics from the University of Salamanca in 2024, completing his final year at the University of Freiburg. There, he worked in the “Attosekunden und Starkfeldphysik” (Attosecond and Strong-Field Physics) research group. Supervised by Professor Giuseppe Sansone, he completed his Bachelor’s thesis titled “Construction of an Attosecond Interferometer for Two-Color Photoionization Experiments,” where he investigated ultrafast electron dynamics following photoionization using a pump-probe setup. He then completed the Master’s Degree in Laser Physics and Technology at the University of Salamanca, receiving the award for the best academic record of his class, and was honored by the Spanish Optical Society (SEDOPTICA) for his Master’s thesis “Design and implementation of an ultrafast ytterbium-based solid-state laser oscillator.” Supervised by research scientists Mauricio Rico and Roberto Lera, alongside Professor Benjamín Alonso from the University of Salamanca, he designed and built an ultrafast solid-state resonator based on Yb:YAG using a Z-fold configuration.
