What are the purposes of processing your personal data?
The purpose of the treatment is the management of the presence control of the personnel taht provide their services in the CLPU for the planning of the human resources and the management of the related incidents. The aim of the use of the fingerprint is to make the procedure of capturing the data easier for the workers.
The CLPU shall not retain a complete image of the employee’s fingerprint used in this data processing, but only a number created from the fingerprint. This number does not allow restoring the footprint.
How long will we keep your data?
The data associated with this treatment will be kept for the legally indicated period. The number generated from the fingerprint will be kept in the system while the employment relationship with the CLPU lasts, being deleted at the end of this employment relationship.
What is the legitimacy for the processing of your data?
The legal basis for the treatment of your data is the employment contract signed between the employee and the CLPU, not requiring the consent of the employee for the main purpose of treatment, according to article 6.1.b) of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).
In the case of the processing of the fingerprint, the legitimation is the consent of the affected (article 6.1.a) of the General Data Protection Regulations –GDPR–).
Who will your data be disclosed to?
The data will not be disclosed to third parties unless in cases in which there is a legal obligation. The international transfer of your data is not expected either.
What are your rights when you provide us with your data?
Without prejudice to the rights provided by the General Regulation of Data Protection and development regulations, you have the right to obtain confirmation about whether the CLPU is processing personal data that concerns you or not. You also have the right to access your personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate date. You may object the processing of your data of a specific purpose, if said processing is not necessary for the fulfilment, development and control of the main prupose of this file. You may request the erasure of your data when the relationship binding you to the Center ends and when we no longer have legal reasons to use it. In some circumstances, you may request the restriction of the processing of your data, in which case we will only keep it for the legally regulated purposes.
