LASERLAB-EUROPE is the European consortium of leading national laser research infrastructures, covering advanced laser science and applications in most research and technology domains, with particular emphasis on areas with high industrial and social impact, such as biophotonics and nanophotonics , materials analysis, biology and medicine.

Recently, the field of advanced lasers has seen remarkable breakthroughs and breakthroughs in laser technologies and novel applications. Laser technology is a key innovation driver for a wide variety of applications and products in many areas of modern society, contributing substantially to economic growth. Through its strategic approach, LASERLAB- EUROPE aims to strengthen Europe’s leading position and competitiveness in this key area. It facilitates the coordination of laser research activities within the European Research Area by integrating major facilities in most European member states with a long-term perspective and providing concerted and efficient services to researchers in science and industry.

This action is directly related to the DOLEV project (ICT2022-007871) since it directly benefits from an innovation and support station, as well as the automation and optimization of data management in experimental campaigns. This will increase the added value of the infrastructure by increasing its capacities. Likewise, building the new experimental area (financed by the AREX 2 project, ICT2021-006764) will increase the number of users and enhance the availability of infrastructure in this European network.
