Since 2021, the CLPU has been developing outreach activities tailored to people with disabilities, including cognitive and/or physical impairments. In these groups, an initial adaptation in communication is necessary, using clear and simple language, along with an extra dose of empathy and patience. The workshop format is adapted on-site to each individual, respecting their pace and circumstances, simplifying concepts, and minimizing the use of XR technology. Over the years, the following centers have been visited:
- CAMP LA SALLE: A care center for people with intellectual disabilities.
- ASPACE: Support for people with cerebral palsy.
- CRE ALZHEIMER: State Reference Center for the Care of People with Alzheimer’s and other Dementias (CREA) of Imserso in Salamanca.
- CRMF: Recovery center for people with physical disabilities.
- INSOLAMIS Association: Promotion and comprehensive training for people with intellectual disabilities.
- ASPAS: Association of parents with children with hearing impairments.”
