Description:
Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) is the world’s most advanced facility for laser users. IMPULSE will bring the resources and expertise of leading European laser facilities to accelerate the transition to the operational phase and enhance ELI’s sustainability. IMPULSE will scientifically demonstrate the performance and potential of each of ELI’s facilities at the start of the operational program. Together with Laserlab Europe, will carry out an extensive analysis of the scientific community that can efficiently exploit both ELI and other laser facilities.
This action is directly related to the DOLEV project (ICT2022-007871) since it directly benefits from an innovation and support station, as well as the automation and optimization of data management in experimental campaigns. This will increase the added value of the infrastructure by increasing its capacities. The participation of the CLPU in this project has made it possible to optimize the management and operational processes of laser centers such as ELI and the ICTS itself, facilitating the design of the new experimental area that the Center will build thanks to the AREX 2 project, ICT2021-006764).
