Description:
It is proposed to set up a network for the preparation and development of a European application ITN Innovative Training Network. The main objective of this proposal is to prepare pre-doctoral researchers in a developing area of physics that is still little established: the physics of plasmas and particle beams generated by high-power lasers. This is relevant for astrophysics, fusion, and also for civil applications such as medicine, biology, and cultural heritage. The network joins a large community of European players in this field, which constitutes an international team.
