With a degree in Physics and master degree in Physics and Technology of Lasers by the Universidad de Salamanca, Enrique García-García joined the Technical Department of the CLPU in 2012. Since then he gained expertise building custom femtosecond laser oscillators with different active media, operating, optimising and maintaining kHz and GW lasers systems from hundred of femtosecond to few-cycle ones with a hollow core fibre post-compression stage as well as VEGA the PW laser chain and auxiliary systems.
He has participated in the design and implementation of some of VEGA Pump-Probe reorganisation lines as well as developed software tools to analyse and correct the laser performance. Moreover, he got the Supervisor License for the CLPU Radioactive Facility from the Spanish Nuclear Security Council (CSN).
He also has participated in several experimental campaigns at the CLPU facility and has done some exchanges in facilities abroad at CELIA (Bordeaux, France) and at Vulcan CLF (Oxford, United Kingdom).
Furthermore, he had started a PhD degree in Physics orientated to the advanced characterisation of ultrashort, ultraintense lasers with the Universidad de Salamanca and joined both Applications of Laser and Photonics ALF-USAL group (https://laser.usal.es/alf/es/
