BSc in Physics and Master’s in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Salamanca. During her undergraduate studies, she completed her academic internship at the CLPU (Spanish Pulsed Lasers Centre), where she collaborated on the data analysis for proton radiography. This experience motivated her to also carry out her Master’s thesis there, focusing on the setup of a plasma diagnostic using Stark spectroscopy, as well as CFD simulations of gases inside capillaries for electron acceleration. Currently, she is a member of the center’s Scientific Department, where she works on various research lines and is beginning her PhD focused on electron acceleration using discharge capillaries. She also actively participates in science communication, notably her talk at Pint of Science: “Do the ducks of La Alamedilla dream of particle accelerators?”.
