Teresa Cebriano holds a degree in Physics from the University of Salamanca and a PhD in Solid-State Physics from the Complutense University of Madrid.
Her research background combines experience in materials science, advanced characterization techniques, laser-plasma physics, and numerical simulations. During her doctoral and postdoctoral work, she focused on the synthesis and characterization of semiconductor micro- and nanostructures using a variety of microscopy and spectroscopy techniques. In recent years, her research activity has shifted towards laser-plasma particle acceleration.
At the Centro de Láseres Pulsados (CLPU), she has participated in projects related to beam transport systems and laser-driven particle acceleration experiments. Her work is mainly focused on numerical modelling using Monte Carlo methods and particle transport simulations. She is an authorized user of the MCNP6 code under a license granted by Los Alamos National Laboratory and has experience with simulation tools.
Her research interests include laser-plasma interactions, particle transport,accelerator technologies, materials for diagnostics, and the application of computational methods to support the design and optimization of advanced experimental activities.
