She received her Physics degree and Master in Physics and Technology of the Lasers at the Universidad de Salamanca.
She joined the Technical Division in July 2013. She started in the femtosecond processing of waveguides laboratory with a kHz and GW laser system that she also operated until the installation of VEGA-3. Since then, she has been carrying out the tasks of operating, optimizing and maintaining the laser chain with special care on coordination and maintenance of the VEGA pump lasers.
She has also participated in the reorganization of the new lines for VEGA, including the beam transport for the new location of the Target Area for VEGA-1, as well as in the development of innovative laser management tools for VEGA that allow fast access to the information regarding some of VEGA key parameters, auxiliary equipment and spares. Moreover, she got the Supervisor License for the CLPU Radioactive Facility from the Spanish Nuclear Security Council (CSN).
She attended the training weeks at the Central Laser Facility (CLF) at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (Oxford, United Kingdom). She also has done two staff exchanges in the Lund Laser Centre (Sweden) with their laser chief officer Anders Person where she could assist in the upgrade of their main amplifier (Ti:Sa, 10 Hz few Joules) and in the cleaning of the pulse compressor gratings.
In 2023 she started a PhD in the study of post-compression and joined both Applications of Laser and Photonics ALF-USAL group (https://laser.usal.es/alf/es/
In 2024, she moved from her position as laser technician to that of specialized technologist, operating Laser-Plasma Accelerators (ALPs) authorized in the CLPU’s radioactive facility.
