Inflammatory bowel disease genetically similar in Europeans, non-Europeans

20 julio 2015

The first genetic study of inflammatory bowel disease across diverse populations has shown that the regions of the genome underlying the disease are consistent around the world. It suggests that the biology underlying disease is also consistent and that drugs developed from genetic studies in one population could be used worldwide. This study compared nearly 10,000 people of East Asian, Indian or Iranian descent with 86,640 people from Europe, North America and Oceania.img src=»» height=»1″ width=»1″ alt=»»/
