Marina Sánchez Albaneda

Marina Sánchez Albaneda joined the CLPU Staff in June 2012 under the ACI Promociona program for the creation of a community of users of ELI (Extreme Light Infrastructure). Among her research interests is laser matter interaction, femto and attophysics (in particular femtomagnetism and femtochemistry), High Harmonic Generation (HHG) and its applications, plasma physics and particle acceleration using lasers.

After obtaining her Degree in Physics in 2003 by the University of Seville (Spain), she moved to Germany where she made her PhD at the “ultrafast phenomena at surfaces group” (AG Aechlimann) in the TU Kaiserslautern. Then she made two postdocs, one at the IESLFORTH in Crete (Greece) and another at the University of the Basque Country in Bilbao (Spain).
