He holds a Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Physics and subsequently earned a Master&#8217;s Degree in Physics and Laser Technology from the University of Salamanca. He completed his academic training with a Ph.D. in Applied Physics and Technology, receiving an international distinction thanks to a research stay at the CELIA laboratory (Centre Lasers Intenses et Applications) in France.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"3\">Experience:<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"4\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\">Particle acceleration through laser-plasma interaction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\">Design, construction, and characterization of plasma structures for interaction with intense lasers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\">Advanced development of plasma diagnostics, ionizing radiation, and accelerated particles.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,3,0\">Design and commissioning of scientific infrastructures for laser-driven particle acceleration.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,4,0\">Participation in multiple experimental campaigns with ultra-intense lasers, including the optimization of particle sources and the development of specific diagnostics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,5,0\">Participation in national and international projects (EuPRAXIA, PACRI, EUROPA, TULIPAN\u2026).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"4,6,0\">Supervision of Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s theses at the University of Salamanca.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=JGUq-6QAAAAJ&amp;hl=es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=JGUq-6QAAAAJ&amp;hl=es<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carlos Salgado L\u00f3pez is a physicist and researcher in advanced laser technologies, plasma physics, and particle acceleration.
