{"id":2404,"date":"2019-01-09T12:58:39","date_gmt":"2019-01-09T12:58:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.clpu.es\/icts-map\/"},"modified":"2025-11-19T07:08:24","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T07:08:24","slug":"icts-map","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.clpu.es\/en\/icts-map\/","title":{"rendered":"Map of Unique Scientific &#038; Technical Infrastructures (ICTS)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>Centro de L\u00e1seres Pulsados is a\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Unique Scientific and Technical Infrastructure (ICTS by its Spanish initials)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The ICTS are infrastructures, resources, or services created to develop high-quality cutting-edge research and designed to transfer, change and preserve knowledge and technology, and boost innovation. Its three main features are these:<\/p>\n<p>1.- The ICTS are <strong>publicly owned<\/strong> infrastructures, that is, they are owned or managed by public entities.<\/p>\n<p>2.- They are <strong>unique,<\/strong> which means that they are one of a kind. They can be: <strong>large equipment<\/strong> that allows observing, analyzing, and interpreting phenomena of interest, <strong>complex experimentation infrastructures<\/strong>, <strong>large experimental infrastructures<\/strong> for engineering and for the development of new technologies, <strong>infrastructures<\/strong> necessary <strong>to facilitate the access of scientists to natural environments and technologies advanced<\/strong> that provide transversal support in all disciplines of science and technology.<\/p>\n<p>3.-The ICTS are open to<strong> user competitive access<\/strong> from all the research community.
