Experiments are performed at CLPU and abroad in collaboration with internationally recognized scientific groups.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Laser-Plasma chair at USAL form young scientist in the field of High Power Lasers plasmas and particle-radiation beams<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Within this action, we present the 1<sup>st&nbsp;<\/sup>course on Free Electron Laser&nbsp;&nbsp;&amp; High Brilliant Electron beams<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>Course program<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Free Electron Laser (FEL) can produce radiation pulsed with high peak brilliance and with photons&#8217; energies ranging from the VUV to the hard X-ray i.e from 10 eV (120 nm) up to 10 keV (0.12 nm).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">These special proprieties of the FEL come from its basic design which is different from that of common atomic and molecular lasers<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nowadays different FEL machines are present in the world focused on different wavelength emissions. In particular, two X-ray FEL are operating in USA and EU coupled with other laser sources and opening different<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FEL dynamic needs to be described by classical or quantum theory depending on the main parameter conditions and the threshold between the two descriptions is ruled by the FEL parameter&nbsp;r.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<ol>\n<li>Electron beam dynamic<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The classical theory of Free Electron laser<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alternative schemes (Quantum regime &amp; From Magnetic to Laser wiggler)&nbsp;\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Teachers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:: Prof. Luca Volpe.
