The central objective of this action is the construction, equipment and commissioning of a second experimental area which has been called Experimental Area 2. petawatt lasers will be promoted ; An experimental station will be installed that allows focusing at extreme intensities and will be open to users, and new diagnostic and data laser pulse control tools will be implemented that will ultimately allow operation with a a large percentage of remote work both for the center’s staff, as it is a radioactive facility, and for external staff.
