He joined the CLPU scientific team in June 2012. He had previously completed a training stage as a Ramón y Cajal researcher at the CSIC, where he specialized in solid-state lasers. He brings to the Center his experience in this type of lasers and other extreme laser systems and deals with the development of laser technology necessary for the experimental phenomenology that unites the group. Previously, he had collaborated with the Max Born Institute in Berlin, with which the CLPU has had a collaboration for years. He has led various technology transfer contracts.
