Director of the CLPU Chair at the University of Salamanca. Chair CLPU
He joined the scientific team of the Centro de Láseres Pulsados in October 2014 as head of the CLPU Chair at the University of Salamanca. Therefore, he is a researcher hired by this academic entity with a workplace at CLPU. Its objective is to coordinate research related to Plasma Physics. He comes from the ELI-Hungary scientific team. CLPU director Luis Roso has been involved with the Extreme Light Infrastructure –ELI– since its inception. The incorporation of Luca Volpe to the working group has reinforced this association by opening numerous collaborations in the field of high-temperature Plasmas with repercussions in areas such as Laboratory Astrophysics and Nuclear Fusion systems.
