The European project "Lasers for Applications at Accelerators: A Marie Curie Initial Training Network "(LA3-NET) has been accepted for funding by the European Commission in early June 2011, under the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7).
LA3-NET is a network of Marie Curie program, under subprogram 'People' bringing together 11 European facilities, including the Centro de Láseres Pulsados Ultracortos Ultraintensos, CLPU. This project will train together young PhD students on the subject of lasers. During their PhD, the PhD students have the opportunity to enrich their knowledge and experience with each of the laboratories as well as to many industrial partners involved in the project.
CLPU will host two PhD students at the beginning of 2012.
Applications deadline: 30th May 2012
CLPU also will oversee the organization of a school dedicated to lasers in 2014.
