INNPACTO Project
Design and development of technological tools for the aceleration of particles by ultrashort and ultraintense lasers.
The project has 2.097.629,24 € of budget and has been partially support by the Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad and it has been cofinanced by ERDF funds as INNPACTO projects 2011.
The project is participated by one technological company, one singular sicentific and technological infrastructure and one university. All of them create a consortium of three partners.
Main Goal
The principal goal of this project is to analyze the applications of the ultrashort ultraintese laser technology in the medical field, specially in the laser acceleration of protons. It opens in the future scientific and technological possibilities to the proton therapy.
